When providing biofuels testing and inspection services, Inspectorate uses industry-standard methods and trained professionals to provide timely reporting of data while also ensuring accurate and reliable results. To maintain our expected level of quality service, Inspectorate conforms to the requirements outlined in the BQ-9000 Standard. Our laboratories also participate in various ASTM Cross Check Programs, including the ASTM Biodiesel and ASTM Ethanol Programs – along with other customer-oriented biodiesel programs to ensure the level of quality and service received by our customers is consistent and accurate.
Inspectorate’s trained professionals can deliver reliable biofuels analysis that meets and exceeds your requirements. Our capabilities include our normal inspection services (quantity and quality), analysis of process samples to provide support to an organizations biodiesel production process, confidential technical and research support on new feedstocks and new production technologies, feedstock analysis using AOCS methods, and crude and refined glycerin analysis using USP standards.
For biodiesel, Inspectorate can test to the ASTM Standard D6751 or the European Standard EN 14214. Utilizing one or both of the standards to certify the biodiesel, Inspectorate can also certify biodiesel and petroleum diesel blends using the ASTM Standard D975 or the European Standard EN 590. To determine if your petroleum-biodiesel blends are accurate, or if you are screening for biodiesel in your petroleum products, Inspectorate also has the capability to perform ASTM D7371 or EN 14078 - Biodiesel, Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME), Content in Diesel Fuel and Middle Distillates.
For bioheating fuel, Inspectorate can test to the European Standard EN 14213 or to the ASTM Standard D396 for blended fuels.
Inspectorate also offers a full range of analytical capabilities for fuel grade ethanol and ethanol blends. If you are looking for a reliable laboratory to test your ethanol to meet the ASTM Standard D4806, the European Standard EN 15376, or to certify ethanol blends such as E85 by ASTM Standard D5798, Inspectorate can assist you.
