Houston Technical Center

Located near the Houston Texas Ship Channel, the Houston Technical Center (HTC) is the nucleus of Inspectorate’s Oil & Petrochemicals testing facilities. It is here that every quality process and training program is evaluated and proven before use in the other 28 US laboratories in Inspectorate’s global network of laboratories. It is through standardisation of our laboratories that Inspectorate will be able to streamline its service and ensure reliability of results in all Inspectorate’s locations. 

The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) improves efficiency, eliminates transcription errors and maintains data security and integrity. This web-based system gives Inspectorate customers unprecedented access to real-time results.

HTC provides the full spectrum of analytical and quality services including Crude Assay, Analytical and Inspection, Gas Chromatography and Technical and Research Support.

The HTC Laboratory is divided into three distinct work areas for quick turnaround times;
